"The best way to predict the future is to invent it." -- Alan Kay

How to be Smarter: If you want to be more of a reader but are unsure where to start, think about the kind of content you gravitate towards elsewhere. Do you love action movies? Try reading a thriller. Is the History Channel always on at your house? Try a historical fiction novel. Only like to read fashion magazines? Try a biography of Coco Chanel. The subject matter that interests you in one medium usually interests you in books, too. How to be Prettier: When taking photos, put your arms slightly away from your body - a small space between your torso and upper arm creates a less “blocky” appearance in photos.

How to be (less) Awkward: Most office meetings start on the hour or half-hour. If you are stopping by someone’s office unannounced, try to avoid doing it at :25 or :55 as those are the times that you are most likely to be hurried through your conversation so the other person can make a meeting.
