How to be Smarter: Using the word “update” instead of “fix” has a more positive connotation. For example, “I went through and updated the document” sounds more helpful and supportive than “I went through andfixed the document.”

How to be Prettier: If there is a shade you love but it doesn’t look great with your hair color, wear it on the bottom half of your body, away from your face.

How to be (less) Awkward: Being quickly responsive to easy-to-answer emails and text messages will help you be viewed as organized professionally, and will also earn you more invites socially, as faster communication to invitations make you look more interested in receiving them.
